Auf Wiedersehen ... Au Revoir.
We've come to a place in our commentary blog ministry
efforts where we feel before our Lord that we've provided,
by our Lord's kind mercy and grace, God's Church in Jesus
Christ with most helpful RESOURCES for this next decade:
2020 - 2029.
Please avail yourself of our online materials - especially
those posted on this site - while they are still available.
And please recall: We are sincerely available to minister
at your (local church or local Christian school) campus if
you'd like further contemporary help in Gospel and
Discipleship ministries. Simply email Jon Swanson at

Before we sign off for a bit,* a few final words toward
Prepared Through Song ...
Our prayer ( sung to the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star )
God of glory, God of grace, help us Lord to seek Thy face.
You who dwell above the earth; You who gave us second birth,
God of glory, God of grace, help us Lord to seek Thy face.
Our Truth confession ( also sung )
Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong, they are
[ or Child-like ones to Him belong, we are ]
weak but He is strong!
Yes, Jesus loves me; yes, Jesus loves me.
Yes, Jesus loves me, the Bible tells me so.
[ both Anna Bartlett Warner's poem of 1860 and
William Batchelder Bradbury's hymn are used above ]
Our personal (from individuals wishing to express it) prayer
God of glory, God of grace, help me Lord to seek Thy face.
You who dwell above the earth; You who gave me second birth,
God of glory, God of grace, help me Lord to seek Thy face.
May YHVH / YHWH God bless and keep you during this most
opportunistic - yet dark - season before His glorious return in
His initial appearing.
Goodbye for the present ...
Until we meet again,
Endurance Ministries' service team
* though we will, Lord willing, continue posting both
2021 weekly blogs and new gift handouts.

Sunday. As we present our lives as living sacrifices in
praise-filled response to the generous demonstration of
Your holy love, we cry: In our lives, Lord, be glorified, be
glorified; In our lives Lord, be glorified today. In the match-

Discerning False Appeals (Part 1)
Calling A Spade A Spade
Do you recall the main approach of The Way of the Master
Ministries ?
An early part of their Gospel effort, in general, is asking
questions:
~ If you steal, what does that make you?
~ If you lie, what does that make you?
~ If you commit adultery of heart (lust), what does that make you?
To make our point in this introductory blog, we'd like to
make a similar observation - one which is factual in practice.
If you teach falsely, what does that make you?
Even more to our point:
If one persists in teaching falsely (even after the errors of the
one teaching falsely are pointed out), it is not true - factually
speaking - that this person is a false teacher ?
The same could be said of a group of folks.
There are many today who persist - even after being shown their
teachings are incorrect in light of Bible Truth - in teaching falsely.
In the context of end-time teaching, there are many teaching
false end-time claims today. Most are aware of their unbiblical
teachings. Yet, for various reasons, they persist in teaching
false doctrine.
In this context, they are actually deceivers who mislead God's
Saints in Jesus Christ. Let's be honest and call a spade a spade:
There are many prophetic voices in churches today who teach
falsely thereby deceiving some toward ill-preparedness.
Some deceived by the false teachers are watching (Mark 13:37)
BUT they are watching based on incorrect (unbiblical) foundations.
BEWARE of those who teach falsely, yes, but there's more:
Scripture tells us to stop listening to those who make false
prophetic appeals. Let's discern these false teachers in light of
explicit Bible Truth AND let's stop giving them our listening ears.
Sober (serious) news:
God will judge both the false teachers and those who willfully
choose to accept their unbiblical doctrine. The projected exper-
iential consequences (of embracing false teaching) alone would
serve as incentive toward seeking Bible Truth concerning our
end-of-days setting.
We bring this more difficult factual appeal not because we're
seeking to judge the false teachers but because Truth matters
and because, in Jesus Christ, we sincerely care.
God's Word emphasizes this: Deception will mushroom in the
days of the end. God calls His people in the Lord Jesus to endure
in sound doctrine. May we continue building our house - see
Mt. 7:24-29 - on HIS Truth Foundation, the Word of God.
If we do so, our worldview will be correct, in agreement with
our Creator, Savior, YHWH/YHVH God ... who is Truth and
through whom we can be free indeed.

A Word About Our Past Commentary Blogs
We continue, by the grace of God, to praise Him for His
leading in our ministry efforts since 2000.
Because He has called us to be "cutting edge" as we ambassador
on His behalf, please understand we have been tasked with a most
particular scope of ministry assignment. Read on for details.
We are "pioneering" in one sense of our ministry efforts. The "new"
end-time ministry ideas we brought during the first two decades of
our service were so new to most that it took a while for our appeals
to be received. Now that many of our messages (though not all)
have been received by those who want to hear what the Bible
actually teaches about our end of days and who wish to discern
present culture thereby, we need to bring the following qualifiers as
we resume our 2021 commentary blog ministry.
1. We affirm ALL of our prior chronological (Click Here) and
thematic (Click Here for present end-time realities ; please
Click Here for future projections) appeals. As God's end-time
Ambassadors of Jesus Christ, we are committed to HIS Truths,
not our own. As a result of our heralding His Truths, our posts
are most truthful - that is, they are, by His grace, faithful to His
Word. (If you disagree with this claim, please contact us with
your thoughts. Thank you)
2. In seeking to be His lights to churches and pastors, we need to
stay on the "cutting-edge" fronts. This means we will minimize
the parroting of our past appeals due to what now has become,
the obvious (e.g., we live in the very end of days just prior to our
Lord's intitial appearing, days where end-time Bible THEMES of
deception, rebellious apostasy, personal idolatry and growing
persecution of the faithful in Jesus Christ are unfolding globally).
Review other examples predicted almost 2,000 years ago by God
in II Timothy 3:1-5.
3. In light of our very different platform - different than many
other popular end-time positions yet most Bible-affirming in
both thematic and chronological appeal - we will, Lord willing, be
addressing CRUCIAL topics which will be emerging soon - during
the years of 2021 - 2025. We bring these "pioneering" messages
due to the NEED to be better prepared for what's ahead. We
proclaim these "calls to the Church" in light of our Lord's clear
mandate that His Church be prepared/sober as we further pre-
pare to enter into the eschatological periods the Bible calls
the war against the Saints, the era of the antichrist and
The Day of the Lord.
4. Our ministry efforts will especially emphasize Gospel proclamation
and Discipleship as our Lord Jesus has commissioned His Church.
We make these prophetic appeals 1) because God has directed us
to do so and, 2) in response to the LOVE He has graciously given
us for His Church. May He be glorified in our labors of tough love.
Dear God Who Provides, thank You for Your generous provisions to
Your Bride-to-be, the faith-driven enduring Church. Thank You for Your
protective Counsel. Help us, Lord, to listen to You as we should. Open
our eyes as we ponder Your Word. Embolden us to be all that You've
called us to be during this time of awesome Kingdom opportunity! And
Lord, please help us to praise You during the difficult moments (as
opposed to cursing You like so many will go on to do as Your righteous
judgments are lovingly extended)! In Jesus Christ's name we pray.
Amen

Discerning False Appeals (Part 2)
On What Basis?
Before we get into some pressing examples of false
teachings within the Church, we need to address a
prerequisite: What is the standard of measurement
used for discerning false appeals?
Simply put: It's the explicit Word of God. Our relational
God knows communication is a key ingredient for healthy
relationships. As a result, He has been most generous to
us in this regard. Yes, He has graciously given His image
to mankind whereby we share, fallen as ours is, His heart in
some precious things. Yes, He has powerfully spoken through
His Creation - general revelation. All these many infallible
proofs are abundant, yes, but He has blessed us with even
more clear communication - His holy Word.
Because we wish to avoid casting our puny judgments on this
matter of false prophetic appeals, we will NOT use, as a standard
of measurement, OUR interpretations of God's Word. No, we
will persist in being His faithful Ambassadors by using His explicit
revelation as a plumb line for defining Truth ... His Truths which
are forever settled in heaven.
Here's an example of what we're getting at by way of the
authoritative standard we humbly employ: Click Here
Here's a contemporary example of our making appeal that it
is the Word of God that must be our authority for faith and
practice: Click Here
Here are some of the passages God has graciously extended
to us on this matter of a sufficient platform for going about
discerning the prophets of our day: Click Here
Truth Matters!
Lord Jesus, as the eternal Word of God, we thank You
for generously revealing Truth to us. Especially in our
day - a day including great deception - we thank You
for Your protective Counsel. Help us, please. In Your
enduring help through Your Holy Spirit, please shore up
our resolve to submit to Your Truths and put aside the
many satanic "has God said ?" assaults. THANK YOU
Christ Jesus. It's in Your matchless name we pray, amen.

Discerning False Appeals (Part 3)
Dangerous, Spirit-Of-ax* Cultural Trends
We are far past the beginnings of Jesus Christ's first prophetic
time of sorrows signs (of Mt. 24:4, 5, 6-8 ; Luke 21:8, 9).
As with literal birth pains, the intensity and frequency increases as
the time (of birth ; of His return and the end of the age) draws near.
Early end of days eschatological manifestations of this sign
further increased during the last few decades of the 20th century.
Today, many other voices herald similar expressions of the spirit
of ax. Examples:
~ Secular humanity's denial that Jesus Christ is Immanuel - God with us!
~ Jewish refusal to accept their Messiah: Jesus Christ
~ Muslim teaching which rejects Jesus Christ being the Son of God
~ Christian cults who scorn God's Instrument / Means of salvation
(His eternal Word, God incarnate, especially the crucial teaching
of Christ - see II John)
~ Other eastern world religions which promote this: "The God of
the Bible is NOT Savior from sin and death."
While these realities are contested by those who are threatened by
global truths, they are undeniable, factually speaking. These birth-pain
sign manifestations are cultural presentries - today.
So we ask:
Why are many Christian churches expressing similar antichrist
sentiments - refusal (it seems) to properly name our Lord Jesus
during these deceptive days? (His name: Jesus Christ, Son of
God, Savior) Why do many churches intentionally only refer to
the Son of Man as "Jesus" ? May we discern our day! The spirit
of the antichrist is the viewpoint of the satanic world today.
Beware dear Church. Do not compromise on this eternally
significant doctrine! [ We are not saying it's wrong to refer to
Christ Jesus as "Jesus" at times. The concern we raise is the
willingness of many Christians by name to placate the world
by refraining from telling the fuller Truth about Jesus.]
Note well dear seeker of Truth: God's Word says this ...
Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He
is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever
denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who
acknowledges the Son has the Father also. I John 2:22, 23
By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses
that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every
spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the
flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist,
which you have heard was coming, and is now already in
the world. I John 4:2, 3
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God,
and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him
who is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the
children of God, when we love God and keep His command-
ments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His
commandments. And His commandments are not burden-
some. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world.
And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our
faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who
believes that Jesus is the Son of God? I John 5:1-5
For many deceivers hae gone out into the world who do
not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This
is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that
we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we
may receive a full reward. Whoever transgresses and
does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God.
He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father
and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring
this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet
him, for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.
II John 7-11
( The above passages are taken from the NKJV. )
IF you have not yet received the Lord Jesus as your Savior,
please ponder the pages outlining God's Good News, for
your eternity is a l o n g time. We care.
* ax = antichrist

A NEW Annual Ministry Suggestion
For Local Churches Around The World
How we got to the low statistics regarding Bible literacy
is beyond me. And yet, the number is most likely even
lower when it comes to Bible knowledge about the
doctrine of end times - eschatology.
We at Endurance Ministries would like to see improvements
in these low numbers. Here's our God-honoring suggestion,
one which offers local churches in any global context an
opportunity to make the most of an annual, pertinent-to-today
Discipleship and Gospel ministry effort. We need to be more
literate concerning what God's Word says about being His
Ambassadors in these end of days. We can't afford to be
out of touch with great ministry opportunities unfolding in
today's culture - days before the initial appearing of our
Lord Jesus.
[ A note on the suggestion linked immediately below: Those
residing in the northern hemisphere of our planet would need
to view this ministry effort in the context of a summer outreach;
those residing in the southern hemisphere would need to view this
ministry opportunity somewhat differently - in the general setting
of a winter outreach. On to our ministry suggestion ... ]

May our Lord Jesus be pleased with our expressions of
true/active Faith.
